Online presence management for hot new East Coast band

Redesign of abandoned and outdated previous website. Enabling Boyd McLaren to focus on what he does best. Now has a presence he can be happy with. 

Applied an Information Architecture process to this project to assist Boyd to reach down to the very roots of what he does and why he does it, and to see what an important part he plays in his local industry. Reflect back to him what he has achieved. 
And to help identify what he wants and doesn't want from his ongoing role in the area.

Jimmi Carr is a talented and respected musician and entrepreneur and was the force behind the setting up of "ALTITUDE" - a regular spot at Candys in Kings Cross to showcase bands of the Blue Mountains. This website is fior his band projects.

Artwork based on bookcover for blog arising from publishing of book

Collaborative project working with partner using weblog CMS and HTML/CSS.
Design of page layouts/template for publisher of topical book on current affairs, society and culture. Said to have been a reference used by Kevin Rudd in developing his approach and policies leading up to his election win.

Didjeridu Dingo

Out of the wild: Didjeridu Dingo - indigenous to the Blue Mountains

Hiighly energetic and innovative Blue Mountains Band.
Featuring the wild and eerie sounds of the didjeridu and didjbone.

This was a free website project to showcase the band, provide information about gigs and sales, and to introduce each of the members to a wider audience.. 
This project allowed PCM to learn the ropes for music website creation.
The site is now managed by a new young band member using the original layout with some attractive modifications.The original site featured a flash intro to their music (see Animation section)

PCM provided consultation and research services, produced layout designs, band photography, flash animation design, animated logo design, copy writing. Guest-book form. Gig guide, press page etc. Audio samples.

Blackheath Art Society

A collaborative project to promote the Society's activities - workshops, weekly groups, shows and competitions, and to allow members to showcase and sell their work online.

Funded through a Cultural Partnerships Grant from Blue Mountains City Council for a partnership between Lorraine Binnington of Park City Media and the management committee of the Blackheath Art Society.

Ian and Michael's website for their grand obsession - collecting and restoring Kay Guitars and other retro axes. They have evolved this to be a very interesting niche location on the web. You can buy some really interesting great sounding machines here. And you'll walk away with some of their encyclopaedic knowledge resonating in your head along with the after effects of their giant amps when you have a test play or listen to them or whoever else has wandered in, having a go.
